Possible cause
The patient monitor does not support USB
memory sticks.
The barcode scanner is bad.
The barcode is not configured properly (e.g.,
length vs. character-delimited).
iPanel software is not licensed.
IX Network is not connected to the patient
monitor.
The network connection is bad.
The Citrix server is down.
The patient monitor is not configured
properly.
The keyboard is bad.
The keyboard locale is not configured
properly.
The wrong software application is activated
for the device.
A license has not been purchased for the
feature.
The trial license has expired for the
feature.
The license is not installed properly.
The language is not configured properly.
A software package is active that does
not have that feature (e.g., OR has fewer
features than ICU).
The active mode does not have that
feature.
The license file is corrupted.
The license file is for a patient monitor
with a different serial number.

Action
Log onto Webmin > Configuration > Admit Settings
> Barcode Settings. Refer to
page 4-14.
Log onto Webmin > Configuration > Citrix. Refer to
"Citrix"
on page 4-13.
Replace the keyboard.
Log onto Webmin > Configuration > Language.
Refer to
"Language"
on page 4-21.
1. To view the software package that is currently
activated, log onto Webmin > Configuration >
Licenses > Host Licensing.
2. Make sure that the desired software application is
displayed under Currently Active Software
Package.
3. If you need to activate a different software package,
access Configuration > Licenses > Software
Package.
4. Select the correct option and select Activate.
Refer to
"Licenses"
on page 4-11.
Log onto Webmin > Configuration > Language and
select the correct language. Refer to
page 4-21.

Software Package.
2. Select the correct option and select Activate.

If you have printed license information, select
Software Package and Host Licensing.
If you have a license file, select Upload License.
