Step 1: Checking the Battery Status and Verifying
Operation with Twisted Pair Adapters
You should check the tester and smart remote's battery
status and verify all equipment is in good working order
before going to the job site.
1-1 Connect the main and remote testers using one of the
methods shown in Figure 2-3.
1-2 Turn the rotary switch to SPECIAL FUNCTIONS.

1-5 If fiber modules are installed in addition to twisted pair
adapters, select Mainframe.
