To run the Autotest on twisted pair cabling:

Verify that the settings listed in Table 3-1 are
appropriate.

Attach adapters appropriate for the job to the tester
and the smart remote.

Turn the rotary switch to AUTOTEST and turn on the
smart remote. Connect to the cabling, as shown in
Figure 3-5 for a permanent link or Figure 3-6 for a
channel.

If a fiber module is installed, you may need to press

Change Media to select Twisted Pair as the media
type.

The tester shows the Autotest Summary screen when
the test is complete (see page 3-10). To view results for
a specific parameter, use
