You can also test the throughput from the client to the LANserver EX3 using
the Avid Performance Meter. See

Problem: No workspaces are available for mounting on an Ethernet client.
Possible Cause: The user account, under which the user has logged in to the
Ethernet client, does not exist either in the MediaNetwork Administration Tool
or the LANserver EX3 Windows domain. For more information on properly
setting up user accounts, see the Avid Unity MediaNetwork Management
Guide.
Possible Cause: The user account does not have permissions to mount
workspaces.
Problem: A Macintosh Ethernet client cannot mount workspaces shared by
the LANserver EX3
Possible Cause: Macintosh clients cannot connect to the LANserver EX3
without installing additional software (DAVE
Windows network. DAVE is included with the MediaNetwork software and
must be correctly configured to function within a LANshare workgroup. See
the Avid Unity MediaNetwork Macintosh Ethernet Client Setup Guide for
information about configuring the DAVE software.
Each Macintosh client needs to have a separate DAVE license to use the
DAVE software. If two clients use the same license, you will have conflicts
between these clients when they try to connect to the LANserver EX3
