Installing a LANserver EX3
This chapter describes how to install a LANserver EX3 and the Ethernet
switch to create a LANshare workgroup. The workgroup can be standalone or
connected to an in-house network.

Before you begin to install the LANshare LANserver EX3 hardware, do the
following:
• Unpack the LANserver EX3 kit (the LANserver EX3 and Ethernet
switch).
• Check the contents of the kit against the packing sticker on the outside of
each shipping box to confirm you have received all the components.
