• An optional MEDIArray ZX (ZX3) drive enclosure to expand storage and
up to 5 Fibre Channel clients (Avid workstations running a qualified Avid
Composer Product) with appropriate Fibre Channel connectivity

When expanding with a MEDIArray ZX (ZX3) chassis you must take the
following into consideration:
- Spares drives must reside in the chassis that they are intended to be
used in. You cannot repair a bad disk in the LANServer EX3 chassis
and use it as a disk in an attached MEDIArray ZX (ZX3) chassis or
vice versa.
- Once a disk has been added to the data set it must not be moved
between the LANserver EX3 and the MEDIArray ZX (ZX3) chassis.
Doing so corrupts the data on that disk.
