A. Follow the procedures in Chapter 6 to install the removed memory card
back in its slot. Make sure that it is seated in the slot and connected to the
backplane.
B. There may be a problem with the memory card or with its slot. To isolate
the problem:
1. Power down the DECNIS 600.
2. Follow the procedures in Sections 6.4 to 6.6 to remove the memory
card.
3. Look for damage to the slot, for example, bent pins on the backplane
connectors. If the slot is damaged, place the memory card in its
antistatic packaging and contact Digital Services.
If the slot does not appear to be damaged, go to the next step on the
flowchart.
C. Follow the procedures in Chapter 6 to install a new memory card. Then
power up the DECNIS 600 and monitor the displays.
