5.10 What to Do if Things Go Wrong

Check Table 5–1 for the Network Interface Card state and take the
corresponding action.

Complete the following steps:
1.
Check that the Network Interface Card is installed correctly.
The Network Interface Card must be inserted into the DECNIS
600 and the handles moved inwards so that the card is seated
in the correct position. See Section 5.5.
2.
Follow the procedures in Section 10.10.
Complete the following steps:
1.
Check that all of the cables are installed correctly. Follow the
procedures on the Cabling Instructions and Specifications card
for the Network Interface Card.
2.
Follow the procedures in Section 10.9.
