If the DECNIS 600 reboots, you can use NCL (Network Control Language)
to find out more information about the problem. Log on to a host system,
start NCL, and enter the following command:
NCL> SHOW NODE server HARDWARE LAST REBOOT REASON
where server is the name for the DECNIS 600.
The displayed information gives the reason for the last reboot. If the
information indicates a hardware problem, refer to the relevant section in
Chapter 10. For example, if the information indicates an overtemperature
problem, follow the procedures in Section 10.3.
If the DECNIS 600 is powered up and the LEDs or displays indicate a
fault, refer to Sections 9.2.1 to 9.2.3 to identify the problem and find out
what to do next.
If there are no LEDs lit on the DECNIS 600, or if you are not sure where the
problem lies, power up the system and start at Section 9.2.1.
