Used to enable or disable the sending of gratuitous ARP requests
while duplicate IP addresses are detected.
config gratuitous_arp send send dup_ip_detected [enable |
disable]
The config gratuitous_arp send send dup_ip_detected command
is used to enable or disable the sending of gratuitous ARP request
packets while duplicate IPs are detected. By default, the state is
enabled.
enable − Enable the sending of gratuitous ARP when a duplicate IP
is detected.
disable − Disable the sending of gratuitous ARP when a duplicate IP
is detected.
Only Administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Used to enable or disable the learning of ARP entries in ARP cache
based on the received gratuitous ARP packets.
config gratuitous_arp send learning [enable | disable]
Normally, the system will only learn the ARP reply packet or a
normal ARP request packet that asks for the MAC address that
corresponds to the system's IP address.
The config gratuitous_arp send learning command is used to
enable or disable the learning of ARP entries in ARP cache based
on the received gratuitous ARP packet. The gratuitous ARP packet
is sent by a source IP address that is identical to the IP that the
packet is queries for. Note that, with gratuitous ARP learning, the
system will not learn new entries but only do the update on the ARP
table based on the received gratuitous ARP packet.
By default, the state is enabled.
enable − Enable the learning of ARP entries based on received
gratuitous ARP packets.
disable − Disable the learning of ARP entries based on received
gratuitous ARP packets.
Only Administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
