idle-arbff: Specifies the idle-arbff mode. This mode uses the idle primitive signal in the link initialization
phase and uses the ARBff primitive signal as the fill word.
idle-idle: Specifies the idle-idle mode. This mode uses the idle primitive signal in the link initialization
phase and uses the idle primitive signal as the fill word.
Usage guidelines
This command is available on only FC interfaces operating at 8 Gbps. This command does not take
effect on FC interface operating at 2 Gbps or 4 Gbps, and these FC interfaces supports only the fill word
mode idle-idle.
When FC interfaces operating at 8 Gbps fail to communicate, you can use this command to adjust the
fill word of these FC interfaces.
To make the fill word mode configuration take effect, you must re-enable the FC interface by using the
shutdown command and then the undo shutdown command.

# Configure the fill word mode as idle-idle for FC 1/0/1 operating at 8 Gbps.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface fc 1/0/1
[Sysname-Fc1/0/1] speed 8000
[Sysname-Fc1/0/1] fill-word idle-idle
