Adjustment
[Standard]
The belt slack should be 2.5 to 3 mm when pushing the center of the timing belt between
the upper shaft pulley and the tension pulley with a force of 1.96 N (200 gf).
[Adjustment]
1. Turn off the power, and then remove the foot controller.
2. Remove the face plate assy and the pattern selecting dial, and remove the front cover
assy and the rear cover assy.
3. Loosen the screw of the tension pulley sub assy.
4. Move the tension pulley sub assy back and forth to adjust the tension of the timing belt.
5. Tighten the screw of the tension pulley sub assy to secure the tension pulley sub assy to the tension pulley
holder B.
