Enter 1.
- The system negotiates "behind the scenes" to determine if en-
cryption should be TLS or SSL, and then adjusts accordingly.
By default, this option is disabled (0).

- To enable POP3 Authentication, enter 2. Refer to

Enter the user name of the account on the SMTP server that will
process the email sent from the SL system. For example, if the
subscriber's email address is yourname@emailserver.com, the
User Name entry would be your name. Email Notification delivers
all outbound email to this account.

tion. When SMTP authentication is enabled, this password is re-
quired to log onto the email account.
