3 Maintenance operations
3.1 Regular maintenance schedule
Weekly maintenance
The following maintenance operations should be performed weekly or when required.
Maintenance action
Calibrate the Pump.
Visually inspect the inlet filters and clean them
if necessary.
Monthly maintenance
The following maintenance operations should be performed monthly or when required.
Maintenance action
Clean the system flow path with 1 M NaOH
and rinse with DM water.
Note:
Cleaning may be necessary more or less fre-
quently, depending on the system usage and
the nature of the samples.
Visually inspect the drive sleeve on the Frac-
tion collector. Replace if worn out.
Other maintenance
The following maintenance operations should be performed when required.
Maintenance action
Clean the instrument externally
Clean the Fraction collector
Perform System cleaning
Clean the UV flow cell
Clean the Conductivity cell
Calibrate the touch screen
