The [ELECTRICL BACKGRND] key is used to select the run mode
for Electrical Background Counts and display the RUN Screen for them.
(See Figure 5.32.) Electrical backgrounds are used to check for electrical
interference in the system. (Aperture current is turned OFF during this
cycle.) Results from this run option are identified by the designation
ELEC BKGND in the data log and are automatically excluded from the
X-B analysis.
The [LATEX] key is used to select the run mode for latex particles and
display the RUN Screen for them. This key is used by Abbott service
personnel.
