Reason
(AC PSU) Replace the power cord.
(DC PSU) Replace the power cable.
Identify the failed PSU, see "Replacing
an AC Power Supply" on page 135 or
"Replacing a DC Power Supply" on
page 137.
If the enclosure is not responding,
contact your service provider.
Reason
Access your disk tools and choosing
Rescan Disks.
Wait several minutes. (There is no
indication of the status of the scan, so
give it some time.)
The logical drive will now be
displayed.
Access the disk tools by selecting
Computer Management and choosing
Disk Management.
Locate the "New Volume" that
represents the newly created logical
drive. Right click with your mouse on
the volume and select "Format."
The format most likely will fail. This is
due to header information from the
previous volume.
Click the Action menu and select
Rescan Disks.
Select the "New Volume" again and
right click with your mouse and select
"Format." The format should complete
successfully. And the disk volume
should now be available.
