Enlarging sweeping track:
è Turn the adjustment screw in an antic-
lockwise direction (+).
Reducing sweeping track:
è Turn the adjustment screw in a clockwi-
se direction (-).
Note
In power-operating mode, the sweeping
track is automatically adjusted due to the
floating mounting for the side brush as the
bristles wear down. The roller brush must
be replaced if it becomes too worn.
Adjusting and replacing sealing strips
è Park the sweeper on an even surface.
è Set programme switch to step 1 (dri-
ving). Roller brush is raised.
è Turn main key to "0" and remove it.
è Secure the machine with wheel
chock(s) to prevent it from rolling away.
è Lock parking brake.
è Open the side panel quick-release locks
on both sides.
è Remove side panels.
Front sealing strip
è Loosen retaining nuts for the front
sealing strip (1) slightly (to replace, uns-
crew).
è Screw on new sealing strip without fully
tightening the nuts.

35 - 40 mm

è Adjust sealing strip.
è Set the distance of the sealing strip to
the floor so that the bottom edge trails
behind at a distance of between 35 and
40 mm.
è Tighten nuts.
Rear sealing strip
è Set the distance between the sealing
strip and the floor so that the bottom
edge trails behind at a distance of bet-
ween 5 and 10 mm.
è If worn, replace.
è Remove roller brush.

è Unscrew retaining nuts for rear sealing
strip (2).
è Screw on new sealing strip.
Side sealing strips
è Slightly loosen retaining nuts for the
side sealing strip (to replace, unscrew).
è Screw on new sealing strip without fully
tightening the nuts.
è To set the floor clearance, insert a sheet
with a thickness of between 1 and 2 mm
under the sealing strip.
è Adjust sealing strip.
è Tighten nuts.
è Screw on side panels.
Replacing dust filter
Danger
Empty waste container before replacing
dust filter. Wear a dust mask when working
around the dust filter. Observe safety regu-
lations on the handling of fine particulate
material.
è Slightly raise the waste container and
tipp it a little.

è Disconnect filter motor from power sup-
ply (1).
è Open catches (2).
è Slightly tip the filter box backwards and
take it out (3).

5 - 10 mm

è Loosen filter mount (1), turn (2) and pull
out.
è Remove louver filter (3).
è Insert new filter.
è Make sure driver engages with grooves
on drive side.
è Snap filter mount back on and tighten
screws.
Note
Make sure when installing the new filter that
the fins are not damaged.
Replacing filter case seal
è Lift filter case seal out of groove in the
cover.
è Insert new seal.
Checking drive belt
Danger
The engine requires approx. 3-4 seconds to
come to a standstill once it has been swit-
ched off. During this time, stay well clear of
the working area.
è Turn main key to "0" and remove it.
è Open cover and secure it (Diag. 3).

è Check tension of drive belt and V-belt of
the suction blower, also check for wear
or damage.

Check cup seal

è Chek the cup seal at the suction blower
regularly to see that it sits properly.
Replacing electric bulb
è Turn main key to "0" and remove it.
è Remove side brush.
