Rear Brake Disassembly and Assembly

Disassembly
1) Remove the rear wheel assembly. Refer to "Front /
Rear Wheel Removal and Installation in Section 2D
(Page 2D-3)".

"A": Apply soap water.
: 32 N⋅m (3.2 kgf-m, 23.0 lb-ft)
: 6 N⋅m (0.6 kgf-m, 4.5 lb-ft)
: 121 N⋅m (12.1 kgf-m, 87.5 lb-ft)

: 60 N⋅m (6.0 kgf-m, 43.5 lb-ft)
: Apply grease.
: Apply silicone grease.
: Apply bond to the mating surface.
: Apply thread lock to the thread part.
: Do not reuse.
2) Remove the cotter pin (1).
3) Remove the rear axle nut (2) by applying the rear
brake.
