Engine Reassembly; Engine Bottom Side - Suzuki LT-Z250 Service Manual

ENGINE REASSEMBLY

Reassemble the engine in the reverse order of disassembly.
Pay special attention to the following points:
NOTE:
Apply engine oil to each running and sliding part before reas-
sembling.

ENGINE BOTTOM SIDE

DRIVE TRAIN
Install the driveshaft and countershaft assembly.
DRIVE BEVEL GEAR
Install the shim 1.
Install the drive bevel gear and washer 2.
Fit the special tool onto the driveshaft.
& 09930-73150: Output shaft holder
Tighten the secondary drive bevel gear nut to the specified
torque by holding the special tool with a vise.
" Secondary drive bevel gear nut:
Stake the nut with a center punch.
100 N•m (10.0 kgf-m, 72.5 lb-ft)
