Configuring Universal Network Profiles

UNP Defaults

The following default settings are applied when the Universal Network Profile (UNP) feature is enabled
on a switch port.
UNP Port Configuration Defaults
By default, UNP functionality is disabled on all switch ports and link aggregates. When UNP is enabled
on a port or link aggregate, the following default attribute values are applied to the UNP port:
Description
The UNP status for the port
The UNP port type
Customer Domain ID assignment
The MAC authentication status for
the UNP port.
Alternate pass UNP for MAC
authentication
The classification status for the
UNP port.
Default profile for the UNP port.
Trust VLAN tag status
UNP Global Configuration Defaults
The following global default values are applied to traffic ingressing on all UNP ports or link aggregates.
