Separation roller

A. Periodically cleaning parts/cycle
• Separation roller: Every 50,000 prints
B. Periodically replaced parts/cycle
• Separation roller: Every 200,000 prints
C. Cleaning procedure
1. Open the feed cover.

D. Replacing procedure
1. Open the transportation cover.
2. Lift up the document feed tray.

2. Periodical check
2. Wet a cloth with alcohol, and use it to
wipe up the separation roller [1].
3. Remove the screw [1] and the
mounting plate [2].
NOTE
• Be sure to hold the document feed
tray to prevent the tray from falling
down while removing the mounting
plate.
