NetBIOS name - Select this option to enter one or more NetBIOS names of individual
endpoints. Wildcards (*) may be used to specify multiple NetBIOS names.
Windows domain - Select this option to enter one or more Windows domain names configured
on your network's domain controller. This option can be very useful for designating NAC
policies for organizational endpoints (that is, those that are a member of a Windows domain)
and other NAC policies for guests on your network.
Wildcards (*) may be used to specify multiple Windows domains (for example, *company*).
NOTE
Windows domains must be specified as a NetBIOS name, not in Active Directory format nor as a fully qualified
domain name (FQDN).
b On separate lines within this box (separated by carriage returns), enter one or more IDs of
endpoints to be assigned to the NAC policy. These identifiers must correspond to the selected ID
type.
c Enter any Notes about this set of endpoints. For example, if you are entering the MAC address of
a guest's endpoint, you might want to enter the computer owner's name and purpose for being
on your network.
d Click add.
NOTE
Move the mouse cursor over the help icon (question mark) next to ID type, and click the CIDR address link to see
the CIDR conversion table pop-up window.
13 Click the Tests menu option to open the Tests window.
