5 Enter the number of minutes, hours, or days that the endpoints are to be granted network access.
6 Click ok.
NOTE
To quarantine the endpoints again, select the endpoint's checkboxes, click change access, select Clear temporary
access control status, and click ok.
NOTE
If an endpoint that has been granted or denied access temporarily by the administrator disconnects, the next time
the endpoint attempts to connect it will be retested; the previous temporary status no longer applies.
Temporarily Quarantining Endpoints
To temporarily quarantine and endpoint or endpoints:
Home window>>Endpoint activity>>Endpoint list area
1 In the first column of the endpoint list, select the checkbox of one or more endpoints.
NOTE
Select the checkbox at the top of the first column to select all of the endpoints on that page. Deselect it to clear all
selections on the page.
2 Click change access.
3 Select the Temporarily Quarantine for radio button.
4 Select minutes, hours, or days from the drop-down list.
5 Enter the number of minutes, hours, or days that the endpoints are to be temporarily quarantined.
6 Click ok.
NOTE
To quarantine the endpoints again, select the endpoint's checkboxes, click change access, select Clear temporary
access control status, and click ok.
Clearing Temporary Access Control for Endpoints
Endpoints can have a temporary access control status designated via the Quarantine for or Allow
access for radio buttons.
