Installing a Hard Drive into a Drive Carrier

1. Observe all safety and ESD precautions listed in

4. If not previously removed, remove the label from the inside of the drive carrier by
pulling up on the blue tab (see letter "A" in the following figure). Insert hard drive
into drive carrier, ensuring that the top of the hard drive faces up and the connector
end of the hard drive faces the rear of the drive carrier. Secure the hard drive to the
drive carrier with four screws (see letter "B").
