Removing an Optical Drive
CAUTION:

To remove an optical drive:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Remove the access panel
3.
Remove the front bezel
4.
Disconnect the power cable (1) and data cable (2) from the rear of the optical drive.

Remove the black Torx screw that secures the drive to the chassis (1), and then slide the drive
out of the front of the chassis (2).
