Step 1 should be done inside
the computer chassis.
It is recommended that you
mark the power cable
connector so that you use the
same connector when
installing your replacement
drive. However, you can
actually use any available
connector on the power cable.

V. Removing the Diskette Drive
1. Disconnect the Data Cable 1 and the Power Cable 2
from the drive by using a gentle rocking motion. The Data
Cable has a green tab on it. You may pull the tab to
remove the cable (see Figure 5-1).
