General Troubleshooting

Problem
The grass blows out the front of the
rear bag door
The drive is weak
The handle pulls too far backwards
towards the operator
There is a delayed engagement in
the drive
The wheels fall off
Error beeps are coming from the
powerhead

Possible Cause
Incorrect alignment of the rear
height-of-cut plates.
The rear bag door is warped.
The PERSONAL PACE® torsion spring
is over wound.
The belt is worn.
The pulley is worn.
The traction cable spring is
disconnected.
The PERSONAL PACE® handle pins
are missing.
The PERSONAL PACE® handle pins
are missing.
The wheel bolt threads are damaged.
The pivot arm threads are damaged.
The wheel bolt is not torqued correctly.
The powerhead is faulty.

Corrective Action
Correctly align the height-of-cut plates.
Replace the rear bag door.
Remove and install the PERSONAL
PACE® torsion spring with the correct
wrap.
Replace the belt.
Replace the pulley.
Install the traction cable end to the
transmission.
Disassemble the PERSONAL PACE®
handle and install the handle pins.
Disassemble the PERSONAL PACE®
handle and install the handle pins.
Replace the wheel bolt.
Replace the pivot arm.
1. Apply thread locker to the wheel
bolt threads.
2. Install the wheel bolt and tighten to
the correct torque.

for the error beep table.
