Chute Assembly Removal
Deck: Service and Repairs
1. Park the machine on a level surface, stop the engine and wait for all moving
parts to stop.
2. Models equipped with the 60v powerhead, remove the harness from
powerhead.
3. Models equipped with electric start only, remove the 2 (M4.2 x 2.0)
screws securing the battery cover. Remove the battery cover and foam pad.
Disconnect the battery by removing the negative cable first, then the positive
cable from the battery.
4. Remove the grass bagger assembly if attached.
5. Remove the rear height-of-cut plates.

6. Remove the rear back door from the unit.
7. Remove the 2 (1/4–10 inch) LH screws securing the rear baffle to the deck.
Repeat on the RH side of the unit.

8. Remove the (1/4–10 inch) rear screw securing the baffle to the deck.
