Note: If a Low Priority Alarm is not silenced
within 2 minutes by pressing the ALARM
SILENCE Key, the monitor increases the
urgency level of the audible alarm signal by
alternating a piezo tone with the primary alarm
tone. See Piezo Tone on page 20.
A high-pitched piezo tone is sounded if there is
no user response to an audible alarm, or if the
monitor detects a failure of the primary
speaker. See High, Medium, and Low Priority
Alarms in Table 3.
One-
second tone indicating the monitor has
been turned on and has successfully completed
