„ White Calibration
A message prompting white calibration is displayed on the instrument after the power is turned ON.
Memo
• If the calibration interval is turned ON and a time is configured, a message prompting white calibration will be
displayed the next time the power is turned ON or when measurement is performed after the set time has passed
since the previous white calibration. (Refer to P.124 "Calibration Interval Messages")
• The reading may fluctuate slightly due to changes in the ambient temperature or due to heat generation caused by
repeated operation of the instrument. In such cases, perform white calibration regularly.
Notes
• White calibration must be performed at the same temperature at which measurement will be performed.
• Perform white calibration after the instrument has had time to adapt to the ambient temperature.
Operating Procedure
Although white calibration can be performed from the prompt when the power is turned ON and from the screen
following zero calibration, the following explains the procedure to perform white calibration from the
measurement screen.

Press [MENU], and then use [◀] or [▶] to display the
<Calibration> screen.
Notes
• The following screen prompting calibration is
displayed when the instrument starts up. If zero
calibration has not been performed, the cursor will
appear on "Calibration (Including Zero Cal.)".
Otherwise, the cursor will appear on "Calibration
(Excluding Zero Cal.)".

Use [▲] or [▼] to move the cursor to "Calibration
(Excluding Zero Cal.)", and then press the
[Confirmation] key.
Start the procedure from the measurement screen.
