„ Edit name
Name the sample.
Display the name of the sample to be edited on the <Sample> screen in advance.
Setting Procedure

Use [▲] or [▼] to move the cursor to "Edit name",
and then press the [Confirmation] key.
The <Edit name> screen is displayed.

Use [▲]/[▼] or [◀]/[▶] to move the cursor
between characters, and then press the
[Confirmation] key.
• Up to 30 characters can be used.
• The selected character is displayed in the text box.
• If the name is obtained from the barcode reader, the
name will be set as the name for the sample.

Repeat step 2 until the necessary characters have
been entered.
• To delete the character to the left of the cursor in the text
box, move the cursor to [×] and press the
[Confirmation] key.

After inputting the characters, move the cursor to
[OK] and press the [Confirmation] key.
The setting is confirmed and the screen returns to the
<Sample> screen.
Memo
• If [ESC] is pressed during configuration, or if the cursor is
moved to "Cancel" and the [Confirmation] key is
pressed, the settings will not be changed and the screen
will return to the <Sample menu> screen.
• When using a barcode reader, barcodes can be used on
the <Edit name> screen. Refer to P.117 to P.119
"Connecting to a Printer/Barcode Reader" for information
on connecting a barcode reader.
Start the procedure from the <Sample menu> screen.
