Color Difference Target Operation

To measure the color difference between two specimens, the color of one of the specimens must be set as the color
difference target. This instrument can store up to 1,000 targets and 5,100 samples.
Memo
• Color difference target data is stored with setting numbers from 0001 to 1000 being assigned. Even if the data at
some point is deleted, these setting numbers do not change. It is useful to group data by assigning numbers of
specific digits.
• To set more accurate color difference target data, use average measurement to measure the target specimen. For
details, refer to the section on average measurement (P.87 and 88).
Notes
• Be sure to perform white calibration before setting color difference targets.
• To ensure measurement accuracy, make sure to keep ambient conditions (temperature, etc.) constant.
