◎ Connecting to a Printer/Barcode Reader

Connecting the instrument to a printer or barcode reader via the Bluetooth function enables printing of various
data such as measurement results or scanning of names for data to save to the instrument.
Notes
• With the optional accessory CM-A219 Bluetooth module installed, the Bluetooth function of this instrument
enables data communication to a computer, data printing to the bluetooth printer, and reading of data
names from a barcode reader. However, connecting to both the Bluetooth module and a computer is not
possible.
• Printing is possible at distances up to 10 m, but the distance at which operation can be performed properly
depends on the wireless environment around the device.
• The instrument can only output text to the printer. Note that even if spectral graphs, color difference graphs,
or other graphics are selected in the display type of the instrument, no graph will be printed.
Memo
• To connect the instrument to a printer or barcode reader via the Bluetooth function, appropriate preparations for
Bluetooth communication must be performed in advance for both the instrument and the printer or barcode reader.
• Bluetooth communication with the instrument supports the Serial Port Profile (SPP).
