Notes
• Prior to the start of measurement, be sure to perform white calibration. For details, refer to "White
Calibration and Gloss Calibration" on P.36.
• To display the color difference, color difference target must be set before measurement.
• To measure a target, select the target number before measurement.
• For accurate measurements, measure under the same conditions (surrounding temperature, etc.).
Operating Procedure

Press [
] to bring up the [Target] or [Sample]
screen, depending on the objective.
The <Target> screen or the <Sample> screen is displayed.
Note: If the menu screen is displayed, press [ESC] and perform
the operation after the Results Display screen is displayed.

Set the specimen measuring port on the sample to
measure.
• Take care to prevent floating or tilting from occurring.
• Using the optional stapler type target mask (CM-A268) makes it possible to determine the measurement
position more accurately.

Press the measurement button.
The specimen is measured and the results are displayed on
the screen.
• The selected number will be used as the target data
number. If data is already present for that number, a
confirmation dialog will ask if the data should be
overwritten. Press the [Confirmation] key to overwrite.
• The sample No. is automatically assigned sequentially in
the order of measurements.
Memo
• When the number of sample data sets stored in the memory reaches 5,100, "The device memory is full. Please delete
some data to measure." will be displayed, indicating that some data sets must be deleted before measurement is
possible.

standard accessory flat type battery
cover (CM-A218).
