Masimo accuracy:
The following accuracy specifications represent only the device's
portion of the integrated Masimo rainbow SET technology
performance. The actual measurement performance and
accuracy depends on the accessory used and can be limited by
the accessory as specified in the sensor's instructions for use.
Without motion:
SpO
(70 to 100%): ±2% Adult, ±3% Neonate
2
SpO
(<70%): Unspecified
2
With motion:
SpO
(70 to 100%): ±3% Adult, ±3% Neonate
2
SpO
(<70%): Unspecified
2
Low perfusion:
SpO
(70 to 100%): ±2% Adult, ±3% Neonate
2
SpO
(<70%): Unspecified
2
Nellcor accuracy:
Saturation accuracy varies by sensor type. Contact Medtronic
for sensor accuracy information. Adult specifications are shown
for OxiMax MAXA and MAXN sensors with the pulse oximeter.
Neonate specifications are shown for OxiMax MAXN sensors with
the pulse oximeter.
With or without motion:
SpO
(70 to 100%): ±2 Adult, ±2 Neonatal
2
SpO
(60 to 80%): ±3 Adult, ±3 Neonatal
2
SpO
(< 60%): Unspecified
2
Low perfusion:
SpO
(70 to 100%): ±2 Adult, ±2 Neonatal
2
SpO
(< 70%): Unspecified
2
The specified accuracy for each technology is the
root-mean-square (RMS) difference between the measured values
and the reference values. Actual accuracy depends on sensor.
Please refer to the sensor instructions for use for more detailed
information.
GE TruSignal accuracy:
Without motion (30 to 250 bpm): ±2 Adult, ±2 Pediatric, ±2
Neonatal
With motion (30 to 250 bpm): ±5 Adult, ±5 Pediatric, ±5 Neonatal
Low perfusion (30 to 250 bpm): ±3 Adult, ±3 Pediatric, ±3
Neonatal
Masimo accuracy:
Without motion (25 to 240 bpm): ±3 bpm Adult, Pediatric,
Infant, Neonate
With motion (25 to 240 bpm): ±5 bpm Adult, Pediatric, Infant,
Neonate
