Preparing machining processes

Depending on the intended use, the machine setter (Setup) can prepare the unit
for a special machining process through configuration of the tool tables and preset
tables.
The following activities can also be performed by Operator-type users.
Creating a tool table
You usually enter the coordinates in accordance with how the workpiece is
dimensioned in the drawing.
By means of tool radius compensation, the product can calculate the path of the
tool center point. To do this, you must specify the Tool length and Diameter for
every tool.
From the status bar, you can access the tool table, which contains these specific
parameters for each tool that is used. You can save a maximum of 99 tools in the
tool table.
