Conditions/Comments
A fifteen character display-only field containing the IP
address of the Media gateway. This field shall return a blank
field until the Media Gateway registers for the first time.
A seventeen character display-only field containing the MAC
address of the Media Gateway. This field shall return a blank
field until the Media Gateway registers for the first time.
A two to three character field for use by the S8700 to allocate
resources from the nearest media gateway (up to 250). See
"Task 14 — Determine the Network Region for the G700".
Default is blank.
A two character field, referring to a timezone offset, day-light
savings rule, and number plan area code. Default is 1.
Two lines of twenty characters each for general site
information.
The G700 Media Gateway Media Modules shall be listed by
Slots V1-V4.
The Media Modules shall be one of six types: analog, bri,
dcp, icc, voip, or ds1. Both the S8300 and Local Spare
Processor are designated using icc in the Module Type field.
Default for the Module Type field is blank.
Normally, you leave these fields blank.'Virtual' Media
Modules (analog messaging and gateway announcements)
are listed in Slots V8 and V9, respectively.
If a conflict exists between an administered and an inserted
media module, this condition displays the message "'#'
indicates module type conflict".
