DCS+ Over ISDN-PRI Administration

For full details on administering a switch network for the S8300, S8100 and S8700 Media Servers, as well
as the DEFINITY Server, see "Administration for Network Connectivity for Avaya MultiVantage
Software, 555-233-504". The administration for these switches is almost identical.
Switches in the ISDN-based DCS network require administration for the following:

S8300 Media Server to Other Switches
Comment
For the S8300, the physical connection is
the MM710 T1/E1 Media Module. Other
systems require a TN464 or TN767 circuit
pack.
Private Networking, ISDN-PRI, and DCS or
QSIG should be enabled. If CAS and/or
Centralized Messaging are to be used with
QSIG, CAS and Centralized Messaging will
also need to be enabled.
For S8300, you administer the MM710
T1/E1 Media Module. For DEFINITY,
S8700, and DEFINITY One/IP600, you
administer a TN464 or TN767 circuit pack.
