Mount the G700 Media Gateway in the Rack
Begin
Position the G700 Media Gateway in the rack. Assure that there is adequate ventilation.
1.
The G700 Media Gateway weighs 22.5 pounds (10 kg) empty and between 27 and 34 pounds
(between 12 and 16 kg) when equipped with Media Modules. Two people may be needed to
mount the G700 Media Gateway in the rack.
Verify that the screw holes are aligned with the rack hole positions.
2.
Insert the mounting screws. Use two screws on each side.
3.
Tighten the mounting screws. Avoid overtightening.
4.
Verify that ventilation vents are not obstructed.
5.
Repeat to add other G700 Media Gateways to the rack as described in the planning documents.
