This screen cont rols default set t ings, login set t ings, lockout set t ings, and ot her user set t ings for t he
device. You can also use t his screen t o specify when users m ust log in t o t he device before it rout es
t raffic for t hem .

DESCRIPTION
Type t he user nam e for t his user account . You m ay use 1- 31 alphanum eric

charact ers, underscores( ) , or dashes ( - ) , but t he first charact er cannot be a
num ber. This value is case- sensit ive. User nam es have t o be different t han user
group nam es, and som e words are reserved.
Select what t ype of user t his is. Choices are:
• a dm in - t his user can look at and change t he configurat ion of t he device
• lim it e d- a dm in - t his user can look at t he configurat ion of t he device but
not t o change it
• u se r - t his is used for em bedded RADI US server and SNMPv3 user access
This field is not available if you select t he e x t - u se r or e x t - gr ou p- u se r t ype.

charact ers.
Re- ent er t he password t o m ake sure you have ent ered it correct ly.
Ent er t he descript ion of each user, if any. You can use up t o 60 print able ASCI I
charact ers. Default descript ions are provided.
I f you want t o set aut hent icat ion t im eout t o a value ot her t han t he default
set t ings, select Use M a n u a l Se t t in gs t hen fill your preferred values in t he
fields t hat follow.
Ent er t he num ber of m inut es t his user has t o renew t he current session before
t he user is logged out . You can specify 1 t o 1440 m inut es. You can ent er 0 t o
m ake t he num ber of m inut es unlim it ed. Adm in users renew t he session every
t im e t he m ain screen refreshes in t he Web Configurat or.

session before t he user has t o log in again. You can specify 1 t o 1440 m inut es.

t he user has no opport unit y t o renew t he session wit hout logging out .
