This screen allows you t o add or edit an SNMPv3 user profile. To access t his screen, click t he
Con figu r a t ion > Syst e m > SN M P screen's Add but t on or select a SNMPv3 user profile from t he
list and click t he Edit but t on.

aut hent icat e t he wireless client s of t rust ed APs. RADI US is a prot ocol t hat enables you t o cont rol
access t o a net work by aut hent icat ing user credent ials.

device using t his SNMPv3 user profile.

Select M D 5 t o require t he SNMPv3 user 's password be encrypt ed by MD5 for
aut hent icat ion.
Select SH A t o require t he SNMPv3 user 's password be encrypt ed by SHA for
aut hent icat ion.
Select t he t ype of encrypt ion t he SNMPv3 user m ust use t o connect t o t he device
using t his SNMPv3 user profile.
Select N ON E t o not encrypt t he SNMPv3 com m unicat ions.
Select D ES t o use DES t o encrypt t he SNMPv3 com m unicat ions.
Select AES t o use AES t o encrypt t he SNMPv3 com m unicat ions.
Select w het her t he SNMPv3 user can have read- only or read and writ e access t o
t he device using t his SNMPv3 user profile.
Click OK t o save your changes back t o t he device.
Click Ca n ce l t o exit t his screen wit hout saving your changes.
