OK - The device st art ed up successfully.
Fir m w a r e u pda t e OK - A firm ware updat e was successful.
Pr oble m a t ic con figu r a t ion a ft e r fir m w a r e u pda t e - The applicat ion of t he
configurat ion failed aft er a firm ware upgrade.
Syst e m de fa u lt con figu r a t ion - The device successfully applied t he syst em
default configurat ion. This occurs when t he device st art s for t he first t im e or
you int ent ionally reset t he device t o t he syst em default set t ings.
Fa llba ck t o la st good con figu r a t ion - The device was unable t o apply t he
st art up- config.conf configurat ion file and fell back t o t he last good.conf
configurat ion file.

This field displays t he nam e of each int erface.
This field displays t he current st at us of each int erface. The possible values
depend on what t ype of int erface it is.
I n a ct ive - The Et hernet int erface is disabled.
D ow n - The Et hernet int erface is enabled but not connect ed.
Spe e d / D u ple x - The Et hernet int erface is enabled and connect ed. This field
displays t he port speed and duplex set t ing ( Fu ll or H a lf ) .
This field displays t he VLAN I D t o which t he int erface belongs.
This displays when t he device is in cont roller m ode. This field displays t he
st at us of t he int erface in t he virt ual rout er.
Act ive - This int erface is t he m ast er int erface in t he virt ual rout er.
St a n d- By - This int erface is a backup int erface in t he virt ual rout er.
Fa u lt - This VRRP group is not funct ioning in t he virt ual rout er right now. For
exam ple, t his m ight happen if t he int erface is down.
n / a - Device HA is not act ive on t he int erface.
This field displays t he current I P address and subnet m ask assigned t o t he
int erface. I f t he I P address is 0.0.0.0, t he int erface is disabled or did not
receive an I P address and subnet m ask via DHCP .
I f t his int erface is a m em ber of an act ive virt ual rout er, t his field displays t he
I P address it is current ly using. This is eit her t he st at ic I P address of t he
int erface ( if it is t he m ast er) or t he m anagem ent I P address ( if it is a backup) .
This field displays how t he int erface get s it s I P address.
St a t ic - This int erface has a st at ic I P address.
D H CP Clie n t - This int erface get s it s I P address from a DHCP server.
