DESCRIPTION
Select t his opt ion t o have t he device act as a m anaging device for ot her
devices on your net work. The device only act s as a cont roller when you
select t his. Wireless client s cannot connect direct ly t o t he cont roller; you
have t o connect t o it t hrough t he wired net work.
Select t his t o m anage t he device using it s own web configurat or, neit her
m anaging nor m anaged by ot her devices.
Select t his t o have t he device m anaged by anot her device on your
net work.
When you do t his, t he device can be configured ONLY by t he m anagem ent
AP . I f you do not have an AP cont roller on your net work and want t o
ret urn t he device t o st andalone m ode, you m ust use t he it s physical
RESET but t on or t he com m ands. All set t ings are ret urned t o t heir default
values.
Click t his t o save your changes.
I f you change t he m ode in t his screen, t he device rest art s. Wait a short
while before you at t em pt t o log in again. I f you changed t he m ode t o
M a n a ge d AP, you cannot log in as t he web configurat or is disabled; you
m ust m anage t he device t hrough t he cont roller AP on your net work.
