Use t his screen t o assign APs eit her t o t he rogue AP list or t he friendly AP list . A rogue AP is a
wireless access point operat ing in a net work's coverage area t hat is not under t he cont rol of t he
net work adm inist rat or, and which can pot ent ially open up holes in a net work's securit y.

AP M ode m eans t he AP can receive connect ions from wireless client s and
pass t heir dat a t raffic t hrough t o t he device t o be m anaged ( or subsequent ly
passed on t o an upst ream gat eway for m anaging) .
M ON M ode m eans t he AP m onit ors t he broadcast area for ot her APs, t hen
passes t heir inform at ion on t o t he device where it can be det erm ined if t hose
APs are friendly or rogue. I f an AP is set t o t his m ode it cannot receive
connect ions from wireless client s.
Select t he profile t he radio uses. I f no profile exist s, you can creat e a new one
t hrough t he Cr e a t e n e w Obj e ct m enu.
This displays if t he device has a second radio. Select t he operat ing m ode for
radio 2.

Click OK t o save your changes back t o t he device.
Click Ca n ce l t o close t he window wit h changes unsaved.
