DESCRIPTION
This field is a sequent ial value, and it is not associat ed wit h a specific
address.
This field displays each cat egory of m essages. I t is t he sam e value used in
t he D ispla y and Ca t e gor y fields in t he V ie w Log t ab. The D e fa u lt
cat egory includes debugging m essages generat ed by open source soft ware.
Select which event s you want t o log by Log Ca t e gor y. There are t hree
choices:
disa ble a ll logs ( red X) - do not log any inform at ion from t his cat egory
e n a ble n or m a l logs ( green checkm ark) - creat e log m essages and alert s
from t his cat egory
e n a ble n or m a l logs a n d de bu g logs ( yellow check m ark) - creat e log
m essages, alert s, and debugging inform at ion from t his cat egory; t he device
does not e- m ail debugging inform at ion, however, even if t his set t ing is
select ed.
Select whet her each cat egory of event s should be included in t he log
m essages when it is e- m ailed ( green check m ark) and/ or in alert s ( red
exclam at ion point ) for t he e- m ail set t ings specified in E- M a il Se r ve r 1 . The
device does not e- m ail debugging inform at ion, even if it is recorded in t he
Syst e m log.

m ult iple log m essages t hat arrive wit hin t he specified Log Con solida t ion
I n t e r va l. I n t he V ie w Log t ab, t he t ext " [ count = x] ", where x is t he
num ber of original log m essages, is appended at t he end of t he M e ssa ge
field, when m ult iple log m essages were aggregat ed.
Type how oft en, in seconds, t o consolidat e log inform at ion. I f t he sam e log
m essage appears m ult iple t im es, it is aggregat ed int o one log m essage wit h
t he t ext " [ count = x] ", w here x is t he num ber of original log m essages,
appended at t he end of t he M e ssa ge field.
