Config | D&I (Drop and Insert)
The appearance of the 'Config | D&I' page (Figure 6-10) is dependent on the framing mode
selected on the 'Config | Modem' page (Sect. 6.5.4.3.2). Contents will vary accordingly:
•
If the selected framing mode is D&I++, the heading will read "D&I++Parameters" and
the available parameters will adjust accordingly.
•
If the selected framing mode is Quad Drop & Insert, the heading will read "Quad Drop
& Insert Parameters" and the available parameters will adjust accordingly.
For details pertaining to the configuration parameters available on this page, refer to Chapter 5.
FRONT PANEL OPERATION. For more information about D&I functionality, refer to
Chapter 9. CLOCK MODES AND DROP AND INSERT (D&I).
Once the desired configuration settings have been made on this page, the user should then click
[Submit] as needed to save those changes.
