3.3.2 LASER OPTICS HOUSING UNIT

CAUTION: 1) Before installing a new laser optics housing unit, remove the sponge
padding and the tag from the new unit.
2) Do not remove the polygon mirror from its base. If you do this, the
lubricant on the shaft can leak out after you reassemble the printer.
Steps 1 through 4 refer to the
procedure for a newly supplied unit
that replaces the old one.
1. Top cover of the laser optics
housing unit [A] (! x 4)
2. Sponge padding [B]
3. Tag [C]
4. Reinstall the top cover.
5. Rear cover, upper rear cover
