When powering this product, high-voltage current may be applied
W A R N I N G
on the SUB Board. To prevent ELECTRIC SHOCK, do not touch
the SUB Board section when the power is ON.
If the shock should happen, the flowing current is very tiny, about a
few hundreds μA, therefore it will not do any harm on the human
body.
Parts/Components need to be removed in advance:
ADF Unit (Artisan 810/PX810FW/TX810FW only)/Scanner Unit/Upper Left
Housing/Paper Guide Top Assy/Upper Housing
Removal procedure
1.
Release the Carriage Lock and move the Carriage Unit to the center. (See
4.2.5.1 Printhead Step2
(p134).)
2.
Remove the Waste Ink Tray Assy. (See

Remove the screw (x1) that secures the CR Porous Pad Assy.

Disassembly Procedures
So as to make description easier, the printer in the photographs is
C A U T I O N
placed vertically in the following steps. Be careful about ink spilling
if the printer is tilted in practical operation.

Disconnect the AID cable from the connector on the SUB Board. (See
4-86.)
Be careful about ink spilling from the Waste Ink Tube.
C A U T I O N
Do not damage the rubber seal or the head cleaner on the cap
with frames or other parts. (See

Remove the Ink System from the bottom of the printer.
