Paper Setting

Each paper tray has been preset with paper size and other specifications.
The setting items are as follows:
- Paper Type
- Name
- Weight
- Both Sides Adjust
- Hole-Punch
- Colored Paper
Size Setting:
The machine can be set to detect the standard paper size when loaded or to
accommodate a specific size (custom size, wide paper size, or tabbed paper
size).
The tray specified as Standard or Tab Paper allows Auto Paper, Auto Zoom,
and Image Rotation to function, and the tray specified as Wide Paper allows
Auto Zoom and Image Rotation.
The tray specified as Custom cannot be used when these functions are ac-
tivated.
Type/Weight:
Using [Paper Setting] on the Copy Screen or Machine Status Screen, paper
specifications preset for each tray can temporarily be altered, new specifica-
tions can be registered, and registered specifications can be recalled.
The following describes how to use Auto Paper, Auto Zoom, and Image Ro-
tation functions, and how to change/register the paper size and other spec-
ifications for each tray as well as to recall registered specifications.

Detail
The Utility mode allows you to delete the registered paper specifications.
It also gives efficiency in registering more than one sort of specifications.
