Loading Tabbed Sheets

Tabbed sheets are available for copying when loaded in the following trays.
- Main body trays (tray 1 to 3)
- Bypass tray
- Large Capacity Unit LU-407/LU-408
When loading a tray with tabbed sheets, be sure to make the size setting of
the tray to specify a tab paper size to be used. For details, see page 9-44.
Note
The tab extension width should be 12.5 mm or less.

Loading Tabbed Sheets in Main Body Trays (Tray 1 to 3)

To load tabbed sheets in tray 1, 2, or 3

Withdraw the tray specified for a tab paper size.

Open the paper feed roller.

Place tabbed sheets on the tray as illustrated above.

Move the side guide plates to the edge of the paper.
– Set paper aligning it to the paper feed roller side of the tray.
– Press the release lever of the front side guide plate to move the side
guide plates, and also move the rear guide to the edge of paper.
